“Wonderful scenery and wildlife. Delightful encounters with Costa Ricans. Authentic history and information about the country by the guide. Our guide was delightful and engaging. Our food buffets at each location was to die for. Always lots of fresh fruit and veggies. My grandchildren loved the encounters with the local animals. Especially the iguanas. We got to see how the culture genuinely values and protects their natural environment. All around good vacation.”

"All the kids programs were wonderful"

“We had an amazing experience on our tour. I actually can’t imagine travelling any other way. It was so stress free and we saw so many sites. It would’ve been impossible to do it all myself. We had a 12 and 8 year old on our tour and all the kids programs were wonderful. As with all travel it is a lot of walking and listening to guides but it was perfectly broken up with free time and gelato. I would say it would be a lot of ‘history’ and walking for anyone under the age of 8 or 9. The hotel pools were definitely a huge hit especially for July! Our guide and driver were exceptional and professional and tons of fun! We will definitely recommend and travel with Trafalgar again, ASAP!”
